We have recently valued this 5 Star hotel next to the London Heliport. It was one of the Von Essen hotels who are in administration. The long leasehold interest has just been purchased (December 2012) by The Cowell Group for a confidential amount. It is a 70 room hotel with a restaurant, spa, gym, bar and extensive conference facilities. Appointment of Head of Landlord & Tenant Department

We are delighted to announce the arrival of Robert Smith to head this department, who we have managed to prise from Strutt & Parker, where he has been a department head for many years, to raise the profile of our Landlord and Tenant Department. Rob has dealt with all of the major funds and property companies in his career to date and we look forward to welcoming him on board in early January 2011.

The Landlord & Tenant Department is currently handling approximately 40 rent review cases for a mixture of individual landlords to major institutions as well as various rent reviews and lease renewals in Upper Street and Islington Green.
